Bella Costantino

Originally from Arlington, Massachusetts, Bella has loved storytelling and performing for as long as she can remember. She recently graduated from Middlebury College with a BA in Theatre, focusing in Costume Design and Acting. Bella is especially interested in Shakespeare’s ingenues, adapting classic narratives to tell queer stories, and creating complex characters through costumes. Outside of the theater, she is an amateur poet, sitcom connoisseur, and blossoming crazy cat lady.
Bella is currently based in Washington, DC. As she dips her toes into the world of professional theatre, she is open to any and all collaborations!
What’s in a Name?
I was born Isabella Ann Costantino-Carrigan, the daughter of Joanne Costantino and Maureen Carrigan. I have always been proud to be the only Costantino-Carrigan in the world. However, in 2023 Maureen and I began the long and frustrated process of changing our names to Costantino, for bureaucratic and sentimental reasons. As of January 2024, my name is Isabella Ann Costantino- but you can call me Bella!
I’m proud of my family and our history. On a more technical level, my digital footprint is spread across multiple names. Any work under the name is Bella Costantino-Carrigan, Isabella Costantino, or any variation thereof, is still me!
